Title: Melchizedek
Scripture: Hebrews 7:1-10
Icebreaker: Share a goal you have for this spring/summer about strengthening your relationship with God.
Summary: The sermon teaches that Melchizedek serves as a type of Christ, foreshadowing the ultimate priestly role of Jesus. Through this, believers understand the transition from the Levitical priesthood to the new priesthood established by Jesus, which provides a more perfect and eternal relationship with God.

4. What does it look like in your daily life to approach God with confidence instead of hesitation?
5. When you feel distant from God, what truths from this passage can you remind yourself of?
6. How should Jesus’ superior priesthood shape the way we pray, confess sin, and seek help?
